Atlas Communication & Media's principal Janet MacDonald has a varied background in communications spanning more than 15 years.

After graduating with a BA Business Studies (with distinction) from Robert Gordon’s University, Aberdeen, Janet worked for BBC, ITV and Channel 4 as a television producer and director, before emigrating to New Zealand in 1997.

Janet worked as a freelance television director until she set up JM Communications Ltd in 2002. In 2005 Janet gained APR accreditation from the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ).

Atlas Communications & Media works with a number of strategic partners to offer clients a full end-to-end service for projects. These include Helio (graphic design), iSite interactive (web development) and a range of specialist writers and proofreaders.

Atlas Communications & Media is a member of PRINZ and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Janet is a Sustainable Business Network board member.
